This is a new release collectors model in 1:43 scale by Aoshima of Japan in their DISM series, brand new in original packaging, Aoshima item number AD 75470.

In 1985 Mazda introduced the second generation of the Savanna RX-7, the FC series. Now powered by a fuel injected 13B rotary engine giving 146 bhp, its styling was updated and it also now featured five speed manual or four speed auto transmission, rack and pinion steering and four wheel disc brakes. This model represents the Re-Amemiya version of the car with aftermarket additions.

This model features accurate composite cast alloy wheels with low profile tyres and brake detail with brake discs and calipers fitted to all four wheels. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately with accurate colour scheme and all correct markings and decals. Other features include rear view mirrors, rear spoiler plus all the correct badges, vents and grilles. Underbody detail includes suspension and transmission details and exhaust system.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, centre console with gearshift lever, rear view mirror, detailed door trims with all handles and armrests plus properly contoured and coloured seats.

The model comes mounted on a black plastic plinth with clear plastic display box and outer cardboard window box.

Aoshima models are amongst the finest 1:43 scale models of their type available. Detail and finish are absolutely top class and second to none in this price range. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.

Aoshima is a Japanese company mainly known for its range of plastic construction kits. However they do also produce a small range of diecast scale models in 1:43 scale. They are made in China and sold almost exclusively to the Japanese market, therefore are difficult to source elsewhere. All items are well researched and produced with meticulous attention to detail a high level of finish and detailing.
