This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Best Model of Italy, brand new in original packaging, Best Model item number 9125.

Following their success in the Targa of 1970, John Wyer Automotive again entered two of the Porsche 908/3 sports racing cars for the 1971 event. Unfortunately they were both retired after accidents in the opening lap of the race. This is the #4 car which was driven by Pedro Rodriguez and Herbert Muller.

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with knock off hubs and correct profile race tyres. The body is nicely modelled and captures the shape and stance of the original car perfectly. It is finished in authentic colours and carries all the correct race logos and decals. The underside is also nicely finished with some chassis and mechanical details and exhaust system represented.

The interior features steering wheel, detailed dashboard and instruments, race seats and gearshift, detailed engine and engine bay, roll cage and many other details.

Best Model items come mounted on a black plastic plinth in a clear plastic display box with outer cardboard window box. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.
