This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Best Model of Italy, brand new in original packaging, Best Model item number 9185.

This is a finely detailed model of the Sid Taylor Racing Lola T70 Spyder. It depicts the car as it was raced at Oulton Park in 1965, driven by Denis Hulme. The race itself was a support event for the RAC Tourist Trophy race. Hulme won the Tourist Trophy that weekend driving Sid Taylor's Brabham BT8 Climax.

This is a definitive model of the Lola T70 and without a doubt one of the finest 1:43 scale examples built to date. It features amazing mechanical detail including engine complete with carburettors, exhaust headers and gearbox, full interior detail with roll cage, race seat and harness, gearshift mechanism, fire extinguisher, detailed instrument panel and steering wheel, windscreen mounted rear view mirror, filler caps, many photo etched parts including front grille and rear spoiler, beautifully cast wheels with knock off hubs and authentic rubber tyres with Firestone sidewall markings. All this is topped off with a beautiful Sid Taylor Old English White paint finish and all the correct decals as per the original car.
