This is a finely detailed model of the Lola T70 Coupe. In 1969 The T70 was at its peak, dominating many events at the hands af various drivers. The opening round of the World Championship for Sports Cars for 1969 was the famous Daytona 24 Hour race. American International Racing entered the #8 Lola T70 Coupe, chassis number SL73/117, in the event and it was driven to second place by Americans Ed Leslie and Lothar Motschenbacher.

This is a definitive model of the Lola T70 Coupe and without a doubt one of the finest 1:43 scale examples built to date. It features a nicely moulded body that accurately portrays the shape and stance of the original car, finished in authentic colour scheme with all the correct race markings and logos. There are also beautiful cast alloy wheels with knock off hubs and Good Year race tyres, photo etched windscreen wiper, rear view mirror, filler caps plus all the correct vents and grilles. The model also features engine detail including exhaust headers.

The interior is also beautifully done, with fully detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, gearshift lever, race seat and harness, pedals, roll cage, fire extinguisher plus many other race related details.

Best Model items come mounted on a black plastic plinth in a clear plastic display box with outer cardboard window box. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.
