This is a rare collectors model, diecast metal in 1:43 scale by Best Model of Italy, brand new in original packaging, Best Model item number 9286.

May 1968 saw the 52nd running of the famous Targa Florio road race and Autodelta fielded a four car team of Alfa Romeo 33.2 Spyders for the event. The Alfas (three of Autodeltas and one VDS) were victorious in the two litre prototype class, finishing first to fourth, as well as taking second, third, fifth and sixth places outright. This model represents the #192 car driven by Lucien Bianchi and Mario Casoni. They finished third outright and second in class.

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with correct profile Dunlop race tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately with accurate colour scheme and all correct markings and decals. Other features include photo etched windscreen wiper, rear view mirrors, fine photo etched grilles plus all the correct badges and vents.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, detailed dashboard and instrument panel, gearshift lever, handbrake, race seats plus many other race related details. There is also some engine detail visible through the rear window and the underside features some engine and transmission detail and exhaust system.

The model comes mounted on a black plastic plinth with clear plastic display box and outer cardboard window box.
