This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Best Model of Italy, brand new in original packaging, Best Model item number 9307.

This is a finely detailed model of the Lancia Beta Montecarlo. In 1981 Martini Racing entered three of the Lancia Montecarlos in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This #67 car was driven by Emanuele Pirro, Beppi Gabbiano and Riccardo Patrese. They went out on the 47th lap after an accident.

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with knock off hubs and correct profile Pirelli P7 race tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately. Other features include rear view mirrors, photo etched wipers, photo etched wing stays and front spoiler stays, tow points, rear spoiler plus all the correct badges, vents and grilles. The underbody detailing includes chassis tubes, turbochargers and exhaust system.

The interior is also beautifully done, with fully detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, gearshift lever, race seat and harness, pedals, roll cage, fire extinguisher plus many other race related details.

Best Model items come mounted on a black plastic plinth in a clear plastic display box with outer cardboard window box. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.
