This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43534.

Nissan finally made their debut with their V12 engined sports racer in 1969. It was due the year before, but was late in developement and the R381's ran with Dean Moon prepared Chevrolet V8's instead. At last the V12 (which was basically a melding of two of the Prince inline DOHC sixes) was ready for action.

Three examples competed in the Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji Speedway, with the R382 of Motoharu Kurosawa claiming its long awaited first victory and giving Nissan an impressive one/two finish with the car of Moto Kitano finishing in second place, about one second behind Kurosawa.

This is the #23 car driven by Kunimitsu Takahashi and Kenji Tohira which finished in tenth position.

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with race tyres and amazing brake detail with both ventilated brake discs and brake calipers fitted to all four wheels. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately. Other features include rear view mirrors, roll cage, beautifully detailed engine with intake system and exhaust system all accurately portrayed, filler caps plus all the correct badges, vents and grilles.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, gearshift lever, roll cage, fire extinguisher, race seat and harness plus many other details.

The rear underside of the model is also very well detailed, with exhaust system, radiators, rear suspension and transmission all represented.
