Porsche 911 RSR Turbo
Le Mans 24 Hour 1974 #21
Ebbro item 43535

This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43535.

In 1974 Martini Racing entered two of the awesome 911 RSR's in the Le Mans 24 Hour race. This model represents the #21 car driven by Helmut Koinigg and Manfred Schurti. They failed to finish after the car caught fire in the eighth hour, but their team mates in the #22 car went on to finish a strong second place. The 911 RSR Turbo used a 2.1 litre version of the Carerra flat six engine and shared all the other lightweight components of that model as well as larger brakes and revised suspension.

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with correct profile race tyres plus fully detailed brakes with brake discs and calipers. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately. Other features include windscreen wiper, rear view mirrors, filler caps, exhaust system plus all the correct race markings, vents, spoilers and grilles.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, race seat and Sabelt harness, fully detailed dashboard and instrument panel, gearshift lever, some engine details where visible, fire extinguisher, air vents, full roll cage and other race related details.

Ebbro models are amongst the finest 1:43 scale models of their type available. Detail and finish are absolutely top class and second to none in this price range. All are limited editions, this item being one of only 3600 pieces originally produced for worldwide distribution. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.
