This is a very rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43591. The M-Tec NSX was the GT300 class winner for the 2004 Japan GT Championship season. Built and tuned by Mugen/M-Tec the car was driven by Tetsuya Yamano and Hiroyuki Yagi. The GT300 NSX is a normally aspirated 3.5 litre V6. They placed consistently well through the season then finished with a win at the final round at Suzuka to clinch the championship by a one point margin. This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with Dunlop Direzza race tyres and full brake detail with both brake discs and calipers, and a nicely modelled body finished in authentic an amazing gold platecolour scheme that captures the shape and stance of the original car perfectly. Other features include finely moulded window frames, windscreen wipers, external rear view mirrors, rear spoiler, tow points, radio aerial and all correct external race logos and badges. The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel and column switches, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, rear view mirror, centre console with gearshift lever and handbrake, race seat and Takata harness, roll cage, fire extinguisher, plus other race related details. Ebbro models are amongst the finest 1:43 scale models of their type available. Detail and finish are absolutely top class and second to none in this price range. All are limited editions, this item particularly rare being one of only 3000 pieces originally produced for worldwide distribution. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging. |
