This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43659. The Honda Z was a continuation of Honda's S360 cars, and was a small personal coupe powered by a 354 cc air cooled twin cylinder engine made to fit into Japan's keicar class. Its compact size, light weight and free revving motorcycle inspired engine gave the Z360 reasonable performance and some 40,000 units were produced between 1970 and 1974. The Ebbro model features accurate wheels with proper profile tyres, and a nicely modelled body finished in authentic bright orange that captures the shape and stance of the original car perfectly. Other features include finely moulded window frames, photo etched windscreen wipers, external rear view mirrors, silvered bumpers, plated door handles, filler cap and all correct external vents and badges. The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, rear view mirror, detailed door trims with all correct handles, window winders and armrests plus proper contoured and coloured seats. Ebbro models are amongst the finest 1:43 scale models of their type available. Detail and finish are absolutely top class and second to none in this price range. All are limited editions, this item being one of only 3000 pieces originally produced for worldwide distribution. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging. |
