#100 Team Kunimitsu Raybrig Ebbro item 43691 |

This is a very rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43691. In 2005 the Japan GT Championship was renamed the SuperGT series. In the GT500 class for turbocharged cars Team Kunimitsu fielded a single car, sponsored by Raybrig. The GT500 NSX is powered by a twin turbo 3.5 litre V6 giving around 500 bhp. This model is the #100 Raybrig sponsored car which was driven by Sebastien Philippe and Jeremie Dufour. They ended the 2005 season in 13th outright and 10th in the team championship. This model features accurate 18" Rays cast alloy wheels with Bridgestone Potenza race tyres and full brake detail with both ventilated brake discs and Alcon calipers (you can even read the brand name on the brake calipers!), and a nicely modelled body finished in blue and white that captures the shape and stance of the original car perfectly. Other features include finely moulded window frames, windscreen wiper, external rear view mirrors, rear spoiler, tow points, radio aerial and all correct external logos and badges. The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel and column switches, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, rear view mirror, centre console with gearshift lever and handbrake, race seat and Takata harness, roll cage, fire extinguisher, plus other race related details. Ebbro models are amongst the finest 1:43 scale models of their type available. Detail and finish are absolutely top class and second to none in this price range. All are limited editions, this item particularly rare being one of only 3000 pieces originally produced for worldwide distribution. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging. |
