This is a new release collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43705. In 1961 Prince ventured into the market for up market coupes and convertables with their Skyline Sport range. These featured bodies styled and built by Michelotti in Italy. The Coupe version modelled here was particularly attractive and well finished. It used the inline four cylinder 1.9 litre GB-30 Prince engine with a two barrel carburettor and an output of 96 bhp. This Ebbro model features accurate wheels with proper profile white wall tyres, and a nicely modelled body finished in authentic colours that capture the shape and stance of the original car perfectly. Other features include chassis and underbody detail, exhaust system, finely moulded window frames and windscreen wipers, external rear view mirrors, bumpers and all correct external badges. The interior is also very well done, with sports steering wheel and column switches, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, rear view mirror, gearshift lever, detailed door trims with all correct handles, window winders and armrests plus proper contoured and coloured seats. Ebbro models are amongst the finest 1:43 scale models of their type available. Detail and finish are absolutely top class and second to none in this price range. All are limited editions, this item being one of only 3000 pieces originally produced for worldwide distribution. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging. |
