This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43720.

This is the latest version of the Mazda MX5 Roadster which was released late in 2005. The third generation MX5 is a total re-design of the previous models, with all new body components, revised suspension and the addition of traction and stability control. It is powered by a 170 bhp 16 valve two litre inline four and drives through a six speed manual gearbox.

This model features accurate 10 spoke cast alloy wheels with proper profile tyres, incredible brake detail with brake discs and calipers both represented, and a nicely modelled body finished in authentic True Red that captures the shape and stance of the original car perfectly. Other features include finely moulded window frames, windscreen wipers, radio aerial, seperate door handles, all correct badges, colour coded external rear view mirrors and bumpers. The underside is also well detailed with chassis details and exhaust system.

The interior is also well done, with steering wheel and column switches, pedals, fully detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, rear view mirror, sun visors, centre console with gearshift lever and handbrake, detailed door trims with all correct handles, window winders and armrests plus proper contoured and coloured seats.
