This is a new release collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43768.

The 1976 Le Mans 24 Hour was a big weekend for Martini Racing, with the team's two top entries finishing in first and fourth positions. The race was won by the Porsche 936 driven by Jacky Ickx and Gijs van Lennep, and the subject of this model, the Rolf Stommelen Manfred Schurti Porsche 935 followed in fourth position. The 935 used a 2.85 litre version of the Porsche flat six which was turbocharged and produced around 560 bhp. This combined with a weight of under 1000 kg, heavy rear weight bias and sudden bursts of power after initial turbo lag produced spectacular performance!

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with correct profile Dunlop race tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately, including the striking Martini Racing colours. Other features include windscreen wiper, radio aerial, rear view mirrors, filler caps, rear spoiler, tow points, exhaust system plus all the correct race markings, vents, spoilers and grilles. Underneath is also well detailed with chassis details, engine and transmission, rearsuspension and exhaust system.

The interior is also very well done, with race steering wheel, race seat and Sabelt harness, fully detailed dashboard and instrument panel, gearshift lever, fire extinguisher, air vents, full roll cage, lots of plumbing and wiring detail and other race related details. This is an exceptional model of the Porsche 935 with amazing detail and one of the finest examples produced to date.
