This is a new release collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43821.

Shiden was a new competitor for the 2006 GT300 class of the SuperGT series, and certainly made good in their debut season, finishing the year in second position. The Shiden is produced by Mooncraft, reviving the name of their Fuji Grand Champion series race car from 1977 the Shi-den 77. Entrant is Verno Tokai and major sponsor is Privee Zurich. Drivers for 2006 were Kazuho Takahashi and Hiroki Katoh.

The Shiden uses the 4.2 litre normally aspirated Toyota V8, maintained by Toda Racing and driving through an X-Track six speed sequential transmission. Chassis features conventional wishbone and pushrod controlled suspension, Alcon brakes and Yokohama tyres mounted on American Racing 18 inch wheels.

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with Yokohama race tyres and amazing brake detail with both brake discs and brake calipers fitted to all four wheels. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately. Other features include radio aerial, rear spoiler, rear view mirror, tow points, exhaust system plus all the correct race markings, vents and grilles.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, instrument panel, gearshift, race seats and race harness.
