This is a new release collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43826. In 2006 a new race series was initiated, the Japan Le Mans Challenge. It was open to LMP1 and LMP2 cars as well as GT1 and GT2, giving Japanese fans an opportunity to see these cars in action, and encourage Japanese teams by giving them more racing opportunities. In LMP1 Team Mugen ran this Courage LC70 driven by Seiji Ara and Haruki Kurosawa. Their best result for the season was a win at the 1000km race at Okayama International Circuit, they finished the season in second position. This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with Michelin race tyres and amazing brake detail with both cabon fibre brake discs and brake calipers fitted to all four wheels. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately. Other features include rear spoiler, rear view mirror, radio aerial, tow points, exhaust system plus all the correct race markings, vents and grilles. The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, instrument panel, gearshift, race seats and Sabelt race harness, fire extinguisher and other race related details. The rear bodywork is also detachable to reveal a beautifully detailed engine, transmission and exhaust system. Ebbro models are amongst the finest 1:43 scale models of their type available. Detail and finish are absolutely top class and second to none in this price range. All are limited editions, this item being one of only 3000 pieces originally produced for worldwide distribution. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging. |
