This is a collectors model, diecast metal in 1:43 scale by IXO, brand new in original packaging.

The Fiat 600 was released in the mid fifties to fill the gap between the 500 and the more upmarket 1100 series. It was rear engined like the 500 but featured a 600cc water cooled inline four cylinder engine for much improved performance over the smaller model. Comfotable seating for four made it very popular with Italian families. The 600 engine was very willing and reliable and variants of the same engine were in use for the next forty years in the models that followed the 600, the 850, 127, Panda, Uno and so on.

This 1:43 scale model features accurate wheels with plated hubcaps and correct profile tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately with accurate colour scheme and all correct markings and decals. Other features include fine windscreen wipers, plated bumpers, fine window frames, air vents, exhaust system plus all the correct badges and decals.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel and column switches, gearshift and handbrake, detailed dashboard with grab handle and instrument panel, detailed door trims and correctly contoured and coloured seats.

The model comes mounted on a black plastic plinth with a clear plastic display box. This item is brand new in original packaging.
