1952 - Dark Red Ixo French Classics Collection |

This is a collectors model, diecast metal in 1:43 scale by IXO, brand new in original packaging. The Renault 4CV was the first new post WWII model for the French maker, and featured a rear mounted 750cc engine. This layout offered surprising interior space and comfort for such a small vehicle. The 4CV proved very popular over its 15 year production, selling more than 1.1 million examples, the first French model to sell more than a million. This 1:43 scale model features accurate wheels with plated hubcaps and correct profile tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately with accurate colour scheme and all correct markings and decals. Other features include fine windscreen wipers, plated bumpers, fine window frames, air vents, exhaust system plus all the correct badges and decals. The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel and column switches, gearshift and handbrake, detailed dashboard and instrument panel, detailed door trims and correctly contoured and coloured seats. The model comes mounted on a black plastic plinth with a clear plastic display box. This item is brand new in original packaging. |
