This is a rare collectors model handbuilt in resin in 1:43 scale by Le Mans 43 of Italy, brand new in original packaging, Le Mans 43 item number 015.

The 2002 Rolex Daytona 24 Hour was the 40th Anniversary running of the event and the opening round of the 2002 Grand American Road Racing Championship. This model represents the third outright place getter and also the class winning Nissan powered Lola B2K/40. It was entered by Rand Racing/Risi Competizione and driven by Anthony Lazzaro, Terry Borcheller, Bill Rand and Ralf Kelleners.

This model features accurate OZ Racing cast alloy wheels with correct profile Dunlop race tyres and brake detail with discs and calipers fitted to all wheels. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately with accurate colour scheme and all correct markings and decals. Other features include rear view mirrors, roll cage, rear spoiler plus all the correct badges and vents.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, gearshift lever and race seat and Sabelt harness.

The model comes mounted on a black plastic plinth with clear plastic display box and outer cardboard window box.
