This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by M Tech of Japan, brand new in original packaging, M Tech item number 48620.

The seventh version of Mitsubishi's Lancer Evolution was released in 2001 and was aimed at their competition in WRC events. It featured an active centre differential and more torque than previous versions, with 276 bhp and 284 ft lb of torque it provided spectacular performance and is capable of running away from a lot of more exotic and expensive machinery.

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with proper profile tyres and amazing brake detail, with both brake discs and brake calipers represented on all four wheels. The body is nicely modelled and finished in authentic colours that capture the shape and stance of the original car perfectly. Other features include finely moulded window frames, windscreen wipers front and rear, external rear view mirrors, radio aerial, colour coded bumpers, rear spoiler and all correct vents and badges.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel and column switches, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, rear view mirror, centre console with gearshift lever and handbrake, detailed door trims with all correct handles, window winders and armrests, detailed rear parcel shelf plus proper contoured and coloured seats.

M Tech models are amongst the finest 1:43 scale models of their type available. Detail and finish are absolutely top class and second to none in this price range. These items are now out of production and sold out in most markets so therefore very difficult to locate. The model comes mounted on a black plastic plinth with clear plastic display box and outer cardboard window box. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.
