|
This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by M Tech of Japan, brand new in original packaging, M Tech item number 54160. This is a model of the prototype version of Subaru's contender for the 2001 World Rally Championship. This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres and amazing brake detail with brake discs and calipers fitted to all four wheels. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately with accurate colour scheme and all correct markings and decals. The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, centre console with gearshift lever, race seats and Sabelt harnesses, roll cage, fire extinguisher, rear compartment detail and full detailed door trims with all handles and armrests. The model comes mounted on a black plastic plinth with clear plastic display box and outer cardboard window box. M Tech models are state of the art 1:43 scale models made in diecast metal. M Tech M Tech is a Japanese company mainly known for its range of toys and collectables. However they did also produce a small range of diecast scale models in 1:43 scale. They were made in China and sold almost exclusively to the Japanese market, therefore are difficult to source elsewhere. All items are well researched and produced with good attention to detail a high level of finish. All M Tech items are now out of production so these will be the last stocks available and cannot be replaced. These models collectors items and are not toys. They are made in diecast metal with many other materials included for detailing. |
