This is a rare collectors model, diecast metal in 1:43 scale by Progetto K of Italy, brand new in original packaging, Progetto K item number RAC014.

This is number 117 of a limited edition of only 600 for worldwide distribution.

This is the Autodelta Alfa Romeo GTAm which was entered in the Spa 24 Hour race of 1973, part of the European Touring Car Championship. Drivers were Massimo Larini and Carlo Facetti. The 1973 race was marred by tragedy with a number of fatal accidents including Larini in the Alfa. The Autodelta team withdrew.

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with correct profile race tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately with authentic colour scheme and all correct markings and decals. Other features include windscreen wipers, external mirrors, filler cap plus all the correct grilles, badges and vents.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, roll cage, fire extinguisher, dashboard and instrument panel and gearshift lever.

The model comes mounted on a black plastic plinth with clear plastic display box and outer cardboard window box.

Progetto K models are all 1:43 scale replicas of some of the more interesting and unusual Italian vehicles. These are hand assembled models and only produced in small quantities, all are limited editions. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.

   
   

Progetto K
Progetto K make a variety of scale models in 1:43 scale covering classic competition and road cars. They are mainly made in diecast metal, but some limited edition items are handbuilt in resin. All are made at their factory in Sesto, Fiorentino, Italy. All items are well researched and produced with meticulous attention to detail and high levels of finish and detailing.

These models collectors items and are not toys. They are either made in diecast metal with many other materials included for detailing, such as plastics, rubber and fine photo etchings, or hand built in resin in limited quantities. All items are strictly Limited Edition, with production quantities usually ranging from 300 to 3,000 for worldwide distribution.
