1932 - Rosso/Nero Rio item 4019/1 |

This is a rare new release collectors model in 1:43 scale by Rio of Italy, brand new in original packaging, Rio item number 4019/1. The Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 was powered by a six cylinder inline engine with double overhead camshafts and a displacement of 1752cc. This gave the stylish saloon brisk performance with its 55 hp output. Drive was through a four speed manual transmission and shaft drive to the live rear axle on semi-elliptic rear springs. This Rio model features accurate wire wheels with correct profile tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and finished in authentic colours and depicts the original car very accurately. Other features include steering wheel, seats, spare tyre, exhaust system, headlights, radiator and removable bonnet. There is also a fully detailed engine bay. The underside is nicely detailed with transmission and engine details, chassis details and exhaust system. This is a very nicely presented and detailed model of this classic thirties sporting saloon. Rio models come mounted on a black plastic plinth in a clear plastic display box with outer cardboard window box. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging. |

Rio Rio is a range produced by the Italian company M4, who also manufacture Art Model and Best Model. The original family company has only recently been aquired by M4 and they are in the process of re-issuing some of the older items with improved detailing. The Rio range covers a very diverse series of vehicles from the 1900' s to the last few decades. The models are made in diecast metal with many other materials included for detailing, such as plastics, rubber and fine photo etchings on most items. They are individually hand assembled and finished in the M4 factory in Pesaro, Italy. These models collectors items and are not toys. |
