Nurburgring 1935 - Tazio Nuvolari Rio item 4178 |

This is a new release collectors model in 1:43 scale by Rio of Italy, brand new in original packaging, Rio item number 4178. This model represents the fabulous Alfa P3 which Nuvolari steered to victory against all the odds at the German Grand Prix of 1935, defeating the factory Auto Union and Mercedes teams on their home turf. This Rio model features accurate wire wheels with knock off hubs and correct profile tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately with all the correct race markings and badges. It also has the full exhaust system, filler caps, starting handle, radiator grille and ventilation louvres. Internally other features include steering wheel, detailed dashboard and instrument panel. The underside also has engine, transmission and some chassis details. Rio models come mounted on a black plastic plinth in a clear plastic display box with outer cardboard window box. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging. |

Rio Rio is a range produced by the Italian company M4, who also manufacture Art Model and Best Model. The original family company has only recently been aquired by M4 and they are in the process of re-issuing some of the older items with improved detailing. The Rio range covers a very diverse series of vehicles from the 1900' s to the last few decades. The models are made in diecast metal with many other materials included for detailing, such as plastics, rubber and fine photo etchings on most items. They are individually hand assembled and finished in the M4 factory in Pesaro, Italy. These models collectors items and are not toys. |
