Jochen Rindt - Wien 1962 Rio item 4196 |

This is a new release collectors model in 1:43 scale by Rio of Italy, brand new in original packaging, Rio item number 4196. Jochen Rindt's first race win was at the wheel of this Conrero prepared Giulietta TI in Austria in 1962. This Rio model features accurate wheels with correct profile tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately. There are also plated grilles and door handles and photo etched windscreen wipers. Other features include steering wheel, bucket seats, detailed dashboard and all correct race markings. The underside also has some chassis details and exhaust system. Rio models come mounted on a black plastic plinth in a clear plastic display box with outer cardboard window box. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging. |

Rio Rio is a range produced by the Italian company M4, who also manufacture Art Model and Best Model. The original family company has only recently been aquired by M4 and they are in the process of re-issuing some of the older items with improved detailing. The Rio range covers a very diverse series of vehicles from the 1900' s to the last few decades. The models are made in diecast metal with many other materials included for detailing, such as plastics, rubber and fine photo etchings on most items. They are individually hand assembled and finished in the M4 factory in Pesaro, Italy. These models collectors items and are not toys. |
