This is a collectors model, diecast metal in 1:43 scale by Starline, brand new in original packaging.

The Fiat 124 Sport Spider was introduced in 1966 and production continued until 1985 with over 150,000 examples being built. It was based on the then new Fiat 124 sedan mechanicals and floor pan, and formed the basis for the equally popular Fiat 124 Sport Coupe. The Pininfarina body was beautifully styled and still looked as good in the latest versions as it did in the initial model, with only minor changes being made over the almost 20 year run of the car. Engines were initially the 1438 twin cam, then 1600, 1800 and finally 2 litre versions on offer.

This 1:43 scale model features accurate Cromodora cast alloy wheels with correct profile tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately with accurate colour scheme and all correct markings and decals. Other features include fine windscreen wipers, rear view mirrors, plated bumpers, air vents, exhaust system plus all the correct badges and decals.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel and column switches, centre console with gearshift and handbrake, detailed dashboard and instrument panel, detailed door trims, rear view mirror, sunvisors and correctly contoured and coloured seats.

The model comes mounted on a black plastic plinth with a clear plastic display box. This item is brand new in original packaging.
